Vinhomes (VHM) has divested its entire 51% stake in Nam Trang Cat Co., Ltd., a subsidiary formed less than a month ago with registered capital of VND 429B. The transaction, executed on July 21, 2026, lacks disclosure of the buyer or value, raising questions about the strategic rationale. VHM shares fell to VND 126,900, the lowest in a month, amid a broader correction from a June peak.

Foreign investors net sold VND 1.92 trillion on July 22, the strongest net selling this month, with SSI, VIC, and VCB leading the sell-off. VNM was a bright spot with net buying of VND 167 billion, highlighting its defensive appeal amid broad market weakness.
