MCH (Masan Consumer) and TCX (TCBS) will be added to the VN30 index effective August 3, replacing TPB (TPBank) and PLX (Petrolimex). ETF rebalancing is expected to generate net buying of approximately VND 386 billion for MCH and VND 60 billion for TCX, while TPB and PLX face selling pressure of VND 81 billion and VND 36 billion, respectively.

MBS reported Q2 2026 pre-tax profit of 377B VND (+38% YoY) on revenue of 1,196B VND (+51%), driven by proprietary trading and margin lending. TCBS posted a record quarterly pre-tax profit of 2,097B VND (+21% YoY), the highest in its history. The results signal a strong start to the securities sector earnings season.

TCBS (TCX) approves an ESOP issuance of 556,522 shares at VND 10,000/share for 28 employees, with a one-year lock-up, as part of a capital increase. The company also reports Q1/2026 net profit of VND 1,147.6B, up 13.5% YoY, supported by strong loan and guarantee fee growth.

TCBS (TCX) completed a stock dividend issuance of over 462 million shares, lifting charter capital to VND 27,739 billion and overtaking SSI as the largest securities company by charter capital. The move underscores the intensifying capital race among Vietnamese brokerages to expand margin lending and market share.
