MSB saw a net foreign inflow of VND 545B on May 13, the largest on HOSE, as foreign investors net sold VND 1,475B overall. The buying interest in MSB contrasts with heavy selling in FPT, ACB, VHM, and STB, suggesting selective foreign positioning in Vietnamese banking stocks.

Foreign investors net sold VND 311 billion on HOSE and VND 12 billion on UPCOM on May 7, with FPT and ACB accounting for VND 670 billion of the selling pressure, as VN-Index closed above 1,909 points for the first time. The net outflow was partially offset by strong buying in MSN (VND 376 billion) and GEX (VND 144 billion).

Foreign investors net sold VND 1,094 billion on May 6, with FPT leading the sell-off at VND 454 billion, followed by ACB (VND 213B), HPG (VND 212B), and VIC (VND 187B). The selling pressure came despite a strong VN-Index rally of 16 points to 1,891. On the buy side, POW, MSN, and DGC were the top net purchases.

Foreign investors net sold VND 1,247 billion on May 4, the first trading session after the holiday, with ACB, FPT, and HPG accounting for nearly VND 1,000 billion of the selling. The net outflow pressured VN-Index to a marginal decline, reflecting cautious sentiment amid low liquidity.

Foreign investors net sold over VND 2,000 billion (approx. USD 80 million) on April 15, 2026, the largest single-session outflow in recent weeks. FPT alone accounted for VND 417 billion of selling, followed by ACB, VCB, VHM, and MSB. The selling pressure contributed to a 17-point drop in the VN-Index, with total matched orders on HoSE reaching only VND 17,300 billion.
