Foreign investors net sold VND 536 billion on June 10, with MBB, VPB, and SSI the most sold, while VJC, CII, and MWG were net bought. The sell-off was concentrated in banking and securities stocks, while aviation and infrastructure saw foreign buying.

MSB saw the largest foreign net sell-off of VND 1,500B on May 22, contributing to a total foreign net outflow of VND 3,285B (~USD 131.4M) across the market. The sell-down pressured VN-Index down nearly 20 points to 1,877, with VIC and HPG also facing significant foreign selling.

Foreign investors net sold VND 688 billion across Vietnamese exchanges on May 18, 2026, but bucked the trend to buy VCB (Vietcombank) with over VND 231 billion, making it the most bought stock. ACB led the sell-off at VND 170 billion, followed by HPG and VHM. VN-Index still rose 6.34 points to 1,927.

Foreign investors net sold over 1,000 billion VND (~$40 million) on May 11, with VHM, FPT, DGC, ACB, and TCH bearing the brunt of the selling. The sell-off weighed on the VN-Index, which fell nearly 20 points to 1,896. BSR, GEE, and DCM saw net buying.

Foreign investors net sold VND 311 billion on HOSE and VND 12 billion on UPCOM on May 7, with FPT and ACB accounting for VND 670 billion of the selling pressure, as VN-Index closed above 1,909 points for the first time. The net outflow was partially offset by strong buying in MSN (VND 376 billion) and GEX (VND 144 billion).

Foreign investors net sold VND 1,094 billion on May 6, with FPT leading the sell-off at VND 454 billion, followed by ACB (VND 213B), HPG (VND 212B), and VIC (VND 187B). The selling pressure came despite a strong VN-Index rally of 16 points to 1,891. On the buy side, POW, MSN, and DGC were the top net purchases.

Foreign investors net sold over VND 1,700 billion (~USD 68.4 million) on April 23, with FPT, ACB, and VHM being the most sold stocks. The sell-off was broad-based across HOSE, HNX, and UPCOM, while PVT, VNM, and DCM saw net buying. The heavy foreign outflow adds pressure on these large-cap names despite the VN-Index rising 13 points to 1,870.

Foreign investors net sold VND 108 billion on April 22, with the largest net buy in FUEVFVND fund certificate (VND 282 billion) and the largest net sell in FPT (VND 209 billion). The VN-Index rose 24 points to 1,857, but breadth was negative.

Foreign investors net sold VND 421B (~$16.84M) on April 21, with FPT, VCB, and MSB seeing the heaviest selling. In contrast, the ETF FUEVFVND was bought over VND 294B, alongside HPG and MSN. The net outflow pressured the VN-Index, which fell 4 points to 1,833.
