NCB reported Q1/2026 pre-tax profit of VND 216 billion, up 43% YoY, with total assets reaching VND 173.5 trillion, completing 91% of its full-year target. Loan growth of 20% QoQ and a 57% rise in net interest income signal accelerating momentum as the bank executes its restructuring plan.

NCB has raised VND 10,000 billion through a private placement of 1 billion shares at VND 10,000 each, increasing charter capital to VND 29,280 billion and completing its restructuring plan three years ahead of schedule. The capital injection, the bank's largest ever, will support credit growth in 2026-2027 and strengthens NCB's financial capacity ahead of a new growth phase.
