Sun Group (SUN) and Accor have elevated their decade-long partnership, adding nearly 6,000 hotel rooms and serviced apartments across Phu Quoc and Da Nang. The deal introduces several Accor brands to Vietnam for the first time, including Sofitel, Swissôtel, TRIBE, and SO/, and is expected to boost international tourist arrivals to Sun Group's integrated resort ecosystem.

Sun Group (SUN) signs a strategic MOU with Thailand's Central Pattana to develop large-scale commercial and entertainment complexes in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc, witnessed by high-level leaders of both countries. The partnership targets Vietnam's underdeveloped shopping tourism segment and aims to extend tourist stays and spending.

Sun Group (SUN) will break ground on the Phan Thiet Airport civil aviation component on April 27, 2026, with a total investment of over 3,800 billion VND (~$152M USD) and a target operational date in 2027. The project, located in Bình Thuận province, represents a major infrastructure expansion for the group and follows the formal approval of its subsidiary as the project investor in early March.

Changi Airports International (CAI) has officially partnered with Sun Group to develop airport infrastructure in Vietnam, tapping into Sun Group's aviation ecosystem that includes Van Don and Phu Quoc airports. The collaboration aims to bring Changi's world-class operational expertise to Vietnam, one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in Asia-Pacific.
